With Ideasicle X What Happens Offline Is As Important As What Happens Online

While services like Zoom and Teams have saved much of the business world during the pandemic, providing a virtual way for people to continue to engage and remain productive, a major complaint from remote workers these days is Zoom-fatigue. I get it, and have experienced it. Too many Zoom meetings can be soul-sucking and difficult to maintain on any given Tuesday.

Now, you might think that Ideasicleˣ, being a software platform, might be equally fatiguing, but that would assume the magic of Ideasicleˣ happens while freelancers are actually using the technology. Sometimes that’s true, but most of the time the magic happens when they are offline.

Let me explain.

Creativity happens when it darn well pleases.

While we believe Ideasicleˣ is pretty magical, the real magic—the important magic—happens while the freelancers are living their lives and colliding with other inspirations they run into. Once an inspiring brief infects an idea person, there’s no getting rid of it. It’s always there in the back of a freelancer’s mind. At the grocery store, filling up the car with gas, taking a child to a park, watching TV. The brief is always there as a mental overlay changing how you view everything. As such, there’s no telling when or where an idea will hit.

That’s the nature of creativity. It simply can’t be forced. But you have to be ready when it strikes.

If an idea falls in the forest and no one hears it…

Ideasicleˣ gives freelancers an easy, powerful way to get the idea IN their heads OUT of their heads and into the private (to the team) “Idea Stream” so the rest of the team can be inspired and build upon it. They can post the ideas from anywhere while it’s fresh using their smartphone. And once the idea is posted each freelancer on the four-person team gets pinged with a link to view the idea and make it even better.

That’s the real magic. That’s why each session averages 40 original ideas and 120 builds.

It’s not fatiguing. It’s energizing.

While Ideasicleˣ is a software platform, it is technology, and it is online, the ideas themselves happen offline. Not on a Zoom call, not in a meeting, but in time-deferred ways of the freelancers’ choosing. The Ideasicleˣ platform is there to organize the jobs, the team, inspire ideas, capture ideas, and take care of the economics, but the magic is still 100% human. Put another way, Ideasicleˣ is the technology, but humans are the software.

And not a Zoom call in sight.
